Job Description

Overhead Door Company of Colorado Springs, a DH Pace Company, Inc., aspires to hire a customer focused and motivated Installation Manager.  This individual will schedule technicians/ installers and ensure completions are met by specified date.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Will learn to effectively manage employee performance, control labor and material costs and ensure service levels meet customer expectations
  • Manage operations to include scheduling of all jobs and crews
  • Communicate directly with customers to schedule jobs, resolve all scheduling conflicts, and provide a premium level of customer service
  • Manage and improve operational processes and procedures
  • Work with Senior and Operational Management to establish sales and operating budgets
  • Assist with employee/job scheduling and provide assistance with technical/mechanical trouble-shooting/problem solving
  • Monitor installers’ schedules to ensure timely completion of jobs and accurate customer invoicing
  • Dispatch installers to customer job sites to assess customers’ service, repair or installation needs and track jobs for completion to customers’ satisfaction.
  • Learn to perform employee performance reviews, document performance issues, provide necessary employee counseling with targeted improvement action plans
  • Hire, train and develop new employees
  • Other duties may be assigned


Job Requirements: 

  • Three (3) to five (5) years managerial experience
  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills and a good mechanical aptitude
  • Transportation, Restaurant, Retail or Service (such as HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical) industry experience a plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the customer and represent the company in a professional manner
  • Proven ability to implement process improvements
  • Proficient user of software and systems
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
