DH Pace Company of Tempe, a DH Pace Company, Inc., will hire an experienced Manager with a strong background in sales, management an operations to actively establish, grow and manage our Residential garage door service, installation and sales division.

If you have personally put a service company on the map because you have a natural affinity for selling as much as effectively managing operations, this may be a career challenge you have been wanting.

To be successful, it will take an engaged, hands-on manager willing to lead a grassroots sales campaign to establish our residential garage door service and installation business in the Phoenix market as we have successfully done across the country.  Position Overview:

  • Work with Regional Manager to establish sales and operating budgets to achieve budgeted sales and gross profit objectives
  • Aggressively market services and products in the Phoenix metro area to establish brand awareness among home owners and custom contract builders
  • Elicit sales opportunities directly with multi-family property management companies, associations and all other potential customers
  • Communicate directly with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems
  • Efficiently, effectively and profitably handle all scheduling, dispatching and routing of installers and technicians to ensure all Service and Installation jobs are done well and profitably and as the division grows, oversee managers who in-turn will be responsible for such activities
  • Manage and improve operational processes and procedures with the objective of providing maximum profit and return with as much emphasis on customer satisfaction, return business and referrals
  • Establish objectives and action plans and ensure all are consistent with corporate objectives
  • Hire, train and develop new employees; improve individual performance through daily coaching, monthly P&L and Scorecard reviews and yearly performance reviews
  • Effective lead meetings, set performance expectations and hold employees accountable


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience managing P&L and personnel; preferably with a Service Organization in the building products and materials and/or construction industry
  • Possess an ability for technical applications, mechanical systems and problem solving
  • Experience conducting meetings with exempt and non-exempt personnel
  • Experience hiring, training, developing and conducting annual performance reviews
  • Must enjoy a high level of activity in a hands-on environment where there is an emphasis on meeting deadlines and providing unmatched customer service
  • Must possess a Valid Driver’s License
