JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Dispatch technicians to customer job sites to assess customers’ service, repair or installation needs and track jobs for completion to customers’ satisfaction.
  • Assist with daily scheduling; ensuring customers’ preferences are met for a specific day; morning or afternoon.
  • Provide immediate problem solving assistance to office staff and/or field technicians.
  • Monitor technicians’ schedules in real time as they complete jobs to maximize efficiency. Efficiently manage workforce to minimize negative labor variants.
  • Continually ensure technicians’ schedules are cleared of completed job tickets and that open job tickets are in correct technicians’ schedules for materials ordered, billing and voided tickets.
  • Provide accurate work orders and picking lists to the warehouse for inventory pulling and manage WIP inventory and returns from job site to minimize inventory investment.
  • Formulate recommendations to improve profitability within department with support of Management. Complete various projects as assigned by management.      
  • Always maintain and promote a positive customer service attitude toward customers and fellow employees regardless of the circumstances.  
  • Follow up on customer inquiries in the hopes of obtaining new business.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required
  • Must have good customer service skills
  • Must have good listening and communication skills, as well as have the ability to fast and accurately enter customer data into the system and multi-task with ease
