Job Description

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Olathe, Kansas is hiring a Collections & Credit Manager. This person will manage a portfolio of construction based customers.  This would involve knowledge of areas such as Pay Apps, Liens and Lien Waivers, Certified Payroll, Funding Draws, Verifying Construction Financing, etc. Will also maintain communication with General Contractors regarding payment of invoices and draw requests.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Helps collections team to achieve compliance with the company’s Credit and Collections policies and procedures. Responsible for achieving weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual collection goals and objectives.
  • Oversee team that manages business-to-business collections and residential accounts by making timely collection of all accounts while maintaining good customer relations and a positive attitude. Most customers are repeat customers.
  • Possess a good working knowledge of collection laws involving both Federal and State. Interact with in-house legal counsel or outside debt collectors when necessary.
  • Interact with Operations personnel to resolve customer issues. Act as the Customers advocate when needed.
  • Document and create SOP’s around the construction collection process.
  • Establish customer credit on accounts under $25,000.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Job Requirements:

  • Prior collections experience
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study strongly preferred
  • Must possess well-developed communication, problem solving, and organizational skills that can thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Must have a passion for credit and collections with a customer service mentality
  • Experience with Dun & Bradstreet or other credit tools would be helpful
